What a beautiful day yesterday and the perfect day to bike, today it snows!

We parked at the bus stop in downtown Canmore. Once we got the bikes unloaded and our gear on, we were off. I always find the bike ride to Banff a little harder than coming back, but still an easy ride. We biked to Subway to grab lunch and then carried on to Vermilion Lakes where we enjoyed our subs. The view was amazing.

I did have a little spill on some ice. I thought I could get across but using my road bike and skinny tires, I ended up in the ditch. I managed to get back up on my bike to continue the ride.

The entire bike ride was 55.92km and couldn’t have pick a better day. I’ve done this one a few times, a favourite of mine (without the ice) :).
