What a relaxing morning … we go up when we wanted, took our time, slowly getting ready. I am usually the one racing around but today, I took it easy – from the time we got up to the time we left, it was about two hours.
It was pretty uneventful … it rained for most of it. We stopped in Creston and checked out the museum then stopped to see the two most westerly grain elevators in Canada still remaining.

Then we stopped at our favourite rest stop, had lunch and met an old friend.

Basically after that it was a quiet ride. I did want to stop and see the Lundbreck Falls, which I have not seen.

After that, it was a quick drive back to Calgary, where (after unpacking the car), we enjoyed a couple glasses of wine.

It was an amazing trip, can’t wait to do the KVR from Kelowna to Penticton, BC, which is a short 80km – downhill!
Until later …
