Yes, you read right … I am going to toilet train my cat, Izzy. I think my cat is the smartest and cutest cat in the whole world. Izzy has an automatic feeder that distributes even amounts of food three-times a day, she has figured out where it comes from and can put her paw up the shoot and ‘wiggle’ out food when she runs out … HA – toilet training will be a cinch.

I have done some research on the Internet on the various methods – anywhere from buying a kit to buying a mixing bowl – and feel that the kit might be the best for us. The one I am going to try and find is the Litter Kwitter and apparently, Petland sells it, so will try and find it or something similar this weekend.

This blog will be the experiences of me trying to toilet train my cat. So stay tuned for updates and hopefully pics of the progress. We are hoping the ‘accidents’ are few and far between.

Step one – I will be moving the litterbox into the bathroom … this will not be pleasant, but, looking forward to the end result.
