We managed to get off the Island with no problem and got on each of the three ferries in a timely manner. The drive to Kelowna was nice, we stopped at the Othello Tunnels and that was amazing, I took so many pics. We stayed at CK’s Uncle’s place and this morning, had breakfast with him and Olga. They took us for a drive through Kelowna to show us some of the sites. We stopped in a fruit and veggie market.

We are now on the road, just past Salmon Arm. We stopped at a couple of fruit markets, one just past Armstrong and the other in Salmon Arm … both had petting zoos that you could feed the animals – that was fun. The one just past Armstrong had just goats and OMG do they love their food, they almost knocked me down. The one in Salmon Arm had goats as well as horses, buffalo, chickens, ducks, swans and (I think) emus. The swans were quite aggressive and loud.

CK has a couple of hikes in mind for us that I am looking forward to.
