Today was a day spent at home (or at least around home). I pretty much had a lazy morning relaxing and reading. Brigitte and I went to another grocery store to buy a few things for today and of course, more chocolate (I think I need my Shurpa to help me carry all this stuff).

My Aunt (who is 86 years young) came by today for a visit where we had cake and coffee (honestly, I have been really good not to over indulge but I walked a fine line today….hmmmmm sooooo many good stuff in the bakery isle) and we visited for a few hours going over old photos I brought with me. She speaks and understands no English and my German, well, not so good – I spent most of the evening smiling and nodding. After we took her home, Herbert, Brigitte and my self enjoyed yet another bottle of wine (a Rose from the Ahr). I was also introduced to a brandy that has about 43% alcohol. Oh My…is all I can say. I was told at Jens and his girlfriend, Janine, are coming tomorrow (and staying overnight) for a visit. Jens is the son of Herbert and Brigitte.

Selena
